Anna Silk is a Fredericton resident, and is the daughter of Peter Silk, who was an academic. The mother of her, Ilkay Silk, had a diverse range of talents, including being able perform, direct and produce plays, as well as write them teaching, as well as be the Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Anna was born in Fredericton. She is being the daughter of the couple Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is a "English-Turkish Cypriot ex-pat" that is originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending rehearsals for plays as a child and watching her mom doing her job. Anna appeared in numerous commercials in her youth. Anna was able to move to Toronto in Ontario in order to pursue acting. Over the years that followed, she eventually made the move into Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, during an actor's training. They became engaged in 2009 when they were married. Anna was a convert to the Jewish faith at the age of 11, after having converted to Judaism. They got weddings in the month of December this year. They then reaffirmed their vows in an Jewish ceremony held in Fredericton, in April 2011.
