Sheryl underwood is a comedian, host of a television show, and actor from the US. She's best known for her part as the Talk's daytime co-host. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas and grew up within Little Rock, Atwater, and Atwater. Sheryl is from a family that has had a lot of problems. She spent most of her childhood taking care of her younger sister Frankie who suffered from polio. As a child, her relationship with mother was rocky. Sheryl states that in one instance her mother stabbed her father because he was getting too close to her. Following her college graduation Sheryl was a soldier in the military. However her interest lay in comedy. She was the first female winner of the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. She started her TV career as frequently performing on The HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. She was a guest on Oh Drama! as the host in 2000. Since 2011 she has been being a co-host for the talk show The Talk. In addition, she has a fictional role in popular shows such as Bulworth Nikki, Bulworth or Beauty Shop.
