Sheryl Underwood is she is an American television personality and comedian, is best known as the host the talk show The Talk, a popular talk show broadcast on daytime television. Sheryl was born and raised within Little Rock. Sheryl was raised in an extremely difficult household. She spent most her childhood watching over her sick sister Frankie. While growing up, Sheryl had many problems with her mother. Sheryl asserts that in an incident, she was stabbed by her father for having a relationship with her. After her graduation from college, Sheryl was a soldier in the military. Sheryl's love of comedy was greater. She was the only female to make it through the competition in 1989 Miller Lite Comedy Search. Her TV professional career began in 1992 when she appeared on the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she was host of the show Oh Drama! Then in 2011, she started participating on The Talk as co-host. In addition she has also been in fictional roles on shows including Bulworth Nikki and Beauty Shop.
